Povetkin out as Sam Peter lined up for Wladimir

Wladimir Klitschko has thrown his toys out of the pram after Alexander Povetkin failed to attend this weeks press conference for his scheduled attempt at Wlad's IBF heavyweight crown on September the 11th.
Apparently Povetkin's handlers say that he couldn't make the trip on account of a sinus infection.
Wladimir however how now allegedly began negotiations with Sam Peter as rumours emerge that Povetkin had not even signed a contract with Wladimir, on account of it being littered with onerous clauses that Povetkin's team were extremely concerned about.
The contract situation echoes the recent public arguments between David Haye and the Klitschko brothers. Haye claimed their rematch-loaded contract was nothing more than a 'slave' contract and that he would only do business with them on level terms, hence fighting and winning the WBA crown from Valuev.
Sam Peter has already fought and lost to both Klitschko's in rather forgettable point losses. Although he did manage to drop Wladimir three times in their first encounter in 2005, it's not expected for the declining fighter to enjoy that level of success in a rematch that holds little interest for fans of the heavyweight division.
