Thaxton Conqueror Mezaache knocked out in 8

Frenchman Anthony Mezaache was leading a stay-busy fight on the Tua vs Barrett undercard last night, when journeyman Carlos Vinan launched a furious last-round flurry which dropped the highly ranked lightweight before his corner through the towel in with just 30 seconds left of round 8 left.

Mezzache falls to 18W 6L 3D, whilst Vinan scored the second KO of his career and takes his record to an average 10W 8L 4D.
